MR. SIDDHARTHA FULLER
Assistant Professor of Law
Siddhartha Fuller is an Assistant Professor of Law at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab since July 2017. He has secured BALLB degree from Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and obtained his LLM from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. He has secured Junior Research Fellowship at UGC-NET examination. At RGNUL, Punjab he has taught courses like Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Judicial Process and Judicial Review, Election Laws, Constitutional Amendments, Centre-State Relations and Indian Federalism, Citizenship and Emigration Laws spread over past four years of his academic journey.
He is one of the Faculty Coordinators of Centre for Constitutional Law and Governance at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab since the inception of this Centre in the session 2018-19. He has organized multiple lectures and competitions for promoting awareness about latest constitutional issues in the country. Currently he is a member of RGNUL’s Internship Committee, Literary and Debating Committee, Sports Committee, Mess Committee and Admission Committee. He is also serving as Warden of Boys Hostel since June 2021. Previously he was associated with the RGNUL Moot Committee as well for the sessions 2017-18 and 2018-19.
He was invited as an Expert Speaker by School of Law, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun to speak on ‘Criminal Justice System and Indian Constitution’ on May 09 2021. He addressed students of School of Law, GEHU, Dehradun on February 20, 2021 on the occasion of World Day of Social Justice. He was invited by SRCC, University of Delhi on March 01, 2021 to talk on ‘Zero Discrimination and Targeting the Beneficiaries of Affirmative Action’ on Zero Discrimination Day. He was invited by RIMT University, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab on February 25, 2020 to talk about the ‘Constitutionality of Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019’. He has delivered a Special Lecture on ‘Fundamental Duties and Indian Republic’ at Department of Law, Punjabi University, Patiala on the occasion of Constitution Day, 2019.
He has attended two days National Workshop on IPR Law in Practice on 1-2nd March, 2019 organized by RGNUL, Punjab in collaboration with Think India and also participated in two days Advanced Workshop on Biological Diversity Laws organized by RGNUL, Punjab in collaboration with UNDP and NLSIU, Bangalore on 23-24 April 2019. He has attended Conference on Legal Aid Framework in Prison Administration on 26-17 November 2018 organized by Department of Prisons and Correctional Services, Punjab in collaboration with RGNUL, Punjab. He successfully completed one week Teacher’s Training Programme on Jurisprudence at National Law University, Delhi from 15-19 December, 2017 and two weeks course on US Constitution and American Legal System conducted by Prof. Robert E. Shapiro, Adjunct Professor, St. Xavier University, Chicago from 7-18 August, 2017.
As a law student he participated in multiple moot court competitions including KK Luthra Memorial Moot, 2006 at University of Delhi and Stetson International Environmental Law Moot, Jammu University as a team mate representing Faculty of Law, AMU, Aligarh. As a law teacher he has judged multiple moots including 1st Association of Indian Universities National Moot Court Competition, 2020, 8th RGNUL Moot Court Competition, 2019, Surana & Surana and RGNUL, Punjab International Law Moot Court Competition, 2018, 7th RGNUL Moot Court Competition, 2018 amongst others. He has supervised seven LLM dissertations so far. He was involved in assessing the Second RGNUL Sports and Entertainment Law National Mediation Competition organized by RGNUL Centre for Alternative Disputes Resolution in association with Peace and Conflict Resolution Team from 6-8 March, 2020.
