DR. NEHA KAPUR CHAWLA
Assistant Professor of Law
Dr. Neha Kapur Chawla is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) from National Law University, Delhi and LLM and B.A.L.L.B (H), from University School of Law and Legal Studies, affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. She was awarded the Annual Topper Award for two consecutive years and the University Gold Medal for securing first position in LLM (Corporate Law) by USLLS GGSIPU, Delhi. Since the beginning of her teaching career in 2013, She has organized multiple conferences, workshops and faculty development programs. With her specialization in Corporate Law, she has a rich experience of teaching Graduate as well as Post-Graduate courses and guiding research projects.
Prior to joining RGNUL, she has worked as an Assistant Professor (Law) at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, The NorthCap University, Gurugram, and Army Institute of Law, Mohali. Her doctoral research is on Managing Non-Performing Assets of Public Sector Banks: A Critical Study of Legal Framework. She has published papers in UGC CARE Journals. She has also participated and presented papers in National as well as International conferences. She has also been invited as a resource person for recording two modules of UGC E- Pathshala MOOCs course, panel discussion on All India Radio and has judged National Moot Court and Essay writing competitions on Corporate Law. Presently, she is a member of the Centre for Business Laws and Taxation.
Courses Taught: Banking Law, Competition Law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Regulations.
