DR. ANKIT SRIVASTAVA
Assistant Professor of Law
Dr. Ankit Srivastava is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Law at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab. He is also a distinguished Member of the Network for Indian Competition Experts at the Competition Commission of India (CCI). Dr. Srivastava holds a PhD in Law from NLU Jodhpur and an LLM from NLU Delhi. He completed his undergraduate studies in law (BA LLB) at Symbiosis Law School, Noida.
With over eight years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Srivastava has previously held esteemed positions at Amity University Lucknow, National Law University (NLU) Jodhpur, and Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) Jabalpur. At DNLU, he notably served as the In-charge of the Moot Court Committee and the Director of the Centre for Competition Law and Policy. He has been actively involved in leading significant research projects, including an ICSSR-funded study on the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and a project funded by the CCI on the competition assessment of the electricity sector in India.
Dr. Srivastava is the Faculty Editor of the RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review and the RGNUL Student Law Review. He also serves as an Executive Member of the Centre for Business Law and Taxation and the Centre for Consumer Law and Advocacy at RGNUL. He has also been the Coordinator of Ph.D. Programme.
To date, he has published more than 20 research papers and presented more than 15 papers at national and international conferences. He has also delivered lectures and guest sessions for various government organizations, including the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Consumer Protection, as well as at several national and international universities. His areas of expertise include Competition Law, Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisition, Law of Contract, Consumer Laws, and Research Methodology.
