DR. ANKIT SRIVASTAVA
Assistant Professor of Law
Mr. Ankit Srivastava is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law, at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law. Before Joining RGNUL patiala, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at DNLU Jabalpur, National Law University, Jodhpur and Amity University, Lucknow. He was the Centre Director of Centre for Research in Competition Law and Policy and Faculty Incharge of the Moot Court Committee at DNLU Jabalpur. He is pursuing Ph.D. in the area of Competition Law from NLU Jodhpur. He has completed his Master of Laws from National Law University, Delhi and Graduation from Symbiosis Law School, Noida. Mr. Srivastava is a member of Competition Commission of India’s Network of Indian Competition Experts (NICE) and Cartel Working Group (CWG). Mr. Srivastava spearheaded a research that led to the empanelment of DNLU Jabalpur by the Competition Commission of India into a panel of reputed institutions, having expertise in law, economics, finance or management, to carry out competition assessment of the economic legislations, bills and policies. After the successful empanelment, he has worked with the commission on a project relating to the Competition Assessment of Electricity Sector in India. Mr. Srivastava was a part of the core team that conducted the CLAT 2020 examination. He was the Coordinator for NLU, Jodhpur with the Competition Commission of India – Competition Network. He was a core member of Centre for Competition Law and Policy at NLU Jodhpur. He has numerous paper publications in reputed UGC CARE Listed and Peer Reviewed Journals to his credit and has also presented his papers in different National and International Seminars and Conferences. He has also edited a book titled ‘An Introspection Into Corporate Criminal Liability in India.’ Mr. Srivastava has been invited to deliver lectures on various topics relating Competition Law, Corporate Laws and Research Methodology amongst others. He has also chaired various National Legal events, ADR competitions, Moot Court Competitions, etc. He holds an experience of administering courses, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His area of Interest is Competition Law, Law of Contract, Corporate Laws and Research Methodology.
