RGNUL, Punjab wins the XV Raj Anand Intellectual Property Rights Moot Court Competition, 2016

The team comprising of Anmol Jassal, Souradeep Mukhopadhyay, and Upkar Agrawal was adjudged as the Winners of XV Raj Anand Intellectual Property Rights Moot Court Competition, 2016 on Patent Law & Biologics organised by Anand & Anand Law Associates & Vidhya Intellectual Property Foundation at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Souradeep Mukhopadhyay was also awarded the Best Speaker of the Final Rounds. The team competed with around 16 teams from prestigious law schools from all over the country. They defeated National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi, & National Law Institute University, Bhopal in Quarter-Finals, Symbiosis Law School, Pune in Semi-Finals & Symbiosis Law School, Noida in Final Rounds to emerge as the overall winners in the Competition Along with the coveted Trophy named “Flame of Creativity”, the team was also awarded a cash prize of ₹ 25000/- and internship with Anand & Anand Law Associates, a top tier law firm in Intellectual Property Right Laws.
