DR. SANGEETA TAAK
Assistant Professor of Law
Dr. Sangeeta Taak, (B.com., LL.B, LL.M, Ph.d and UGC- Net Law) is an Assistant Professor of Law at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab since 2007. Her areas of Interest are Consumer Protection Laws, International Criminal Law, Human Rights and Refugee Law.
She has a credit of writing various research papers in International and National Journal. She has also authored a book on International Criminal Law. She has contributed an E-content on MOOC on Sociology and Gender, Environment Law and Policies on EPG Pathshala- content for Post graduate Courses: An MHRD Project, Government of India, and on International Humanitarian Law in the IGNOU Course and ICRC, New Delhi.
She participated in the One Month Summer Programme organized by the IIDH Strasbourg, France on International and Comparative Law of Human Rights, from July 4, 2011- July 29, 2011 in France She got diploma in the CIEDHU programme which is a recognition for the human rights teaching at academic level. It was sponsored by the International Committee of the Red Cross. She has also participated in the Five Day Training Programme for the Professors in International Humanitarian Law, organized by the Geneva Academy of International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law in collaboration with the International Committee of, Geneva in Geneva from 23 -27 August, 2010.
