Assistant Professor of English

Navleen Multani is Assistant Professor of English at RGNUL, Punjab. She has been teaching language, literature, linguistics and communication skills in various degree programmes since 2012. She is a postgraduate from Panjab University, Chandigarh and holds PhD in English from Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab. She specializes in theories of resistance and Indian writings. The areas of her interest include literary theory, transcendental writings, science fiction, diasporic writings, postcolonial literature, cultural studies, Indian writings in English, gender studies and environmental literature.

Navleen Multani has published several scholarly articles in reputed journals and presented research papers in national and international conferences. She has edited Essays on Classics (2019). Lessons on the works of eminent literary figures outlined by her are a part of   compulsory English (Communication Skills) course at Punjabi University, Patiala. She has also penned chapters for books and articles for literary blog. She has contributed to the design and development of English curriculum for undergraduate courses. She has organized different inter/national events, RGNUL Exagium and Expressions@RGNUL, for skill enhancement of students and workshops on academic writing. She has been a resource person for PhD Coursework at RGNUL.
