DR. JASWINDER KAUR
Assistant Professor of Law
Dr. Jaswinder kaur is an Assistant Professor of Law in RGNUL. She has a teaching and research experience of 17 years. She has done B.ALL.B (FYIC) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, LL.M from Punjabi University, Patiala, Ph.D from Panjab University Chandigarh and UGC-NET qualified. Her Ph.D thesis is on “An Analytical Study on Judicial Review Of Administrative Action In India”. She has also done Two Years Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights (PGDHR) from Indian Institute of Human Rights, New Delhi. She has presented 62 research papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences and published 25 research paper in reputed journal and books. She is teaching Law of Torts and Consumer Protection Laws, Administrative Laws, Property Law, Interpretation of Statutes and Clinical Legal Education (Public Interest Lawyering, Legal Aid and Para Legal Services) at undergraduate and Post- Graduate level. She has guided and supervised a LL.M as well as Ph.d students. She has attended various academic and faculty development courses and organized varous events at national and international level.
She is a Cordinator of Centre for Advanced Studies in Human Rights (CASIHR) and Co-Cordinator of Centre of Energy Law RGNUL. She is Editor of CASIHR journal of Human Right Practice and Research Journal of Social Sciences RGNUL. She is member of SC/ST Cell, Employees Grievances Redressal Commitee, Internal Complaint Committeee and Cultural Committee, RGNUL Punjab, Patiala.
