I have been working as an Assistant Professor of law at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, Punjab since February 2020. My area of interest includes Right to Information, Constitutional law, Administrative Law, Media Law, Environment Law, Law of Contracts etc. I completed my B.A.LL.B. from the University of Jammu in the year 2017 with an overall 2nd Position. I scored an A.I.R. of 348 in the Post Graduate CLAT examination in 2018. After that, I joined RGNUL for my Masters (LL.M.) in the year 2017 with specialization in “Constitutional and Administrative Law.”  My Masters Dissertation topic covered the issue of Article 370 and its implications and was titled “Special Status of State of Jammu and Kashmir: A Socio-Legal Critique”.  I also conducted research upon the topic of Right to Free and Compulsory Education in India and completed a Certificate Course on “American Constitutional Law and Legislative Process” conducted by Professor Kenneth Bernhard, Partner, Cohen & Wolf, Westport, Connecticut, United States organized by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law under the Centre for International Legal Studies, Austria from 26th March to 03 April 2018 at RGNUL Campus.


In August 2018, I got enrolled in the Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) in Law programme at RGNUL. The topic of my research is “Right to Information and Good Governance.” I am currently pursuing an empirical the research work on the topic. In June 2019, I qualified the U.G.C. Net Examination. I have also qualified the One Month Pre-Ph.D. Course Work Examination, (held from June- July 2020) at RGNUL, Punjab.


During my time as an Assistant Professor of Law at RGNUL, I have been a part of various committees and research centres. Previously, I worked as a member of the Moot Court Committee from February 2020-June 2020. Currently, I am the faculty co-ordinator of the Centre for Consumer Protection Laws and Advocacy, RGNUL.

In July 2020, I along with my colleagues, organized a Webinar on the topic “Arbitrability of Consumer Disputes”, at RGNUL. I have also been invited as an Assessor for various Moot Court Competitions and Mediation Competitions.
